An Electric Tsunami has arrived.

This is the next big wave of auto-evolution.

No Zelectric jobs are currently open. But if you’re tech-savvy and looking for a future-focused creative career, we’d like to hear from you. To be considered for any future build technician position, professional automotive technician team experience is required – from 3-6 years, either recent or current. Specific ICE to Electric conversion experience with vintage cars wouldn’t be necessary, but always welcome.

Zelectric is an established leader in the classic electric conversion industry.

We hot rod-outlaw-modify vintage Porsches and VWs, custom bespoke to order. Clients send us their classics from all over North America. We source them for those who don’t yet own them. Maybe you’ve caught us on Jay Leno's Garage. Or on this recent episode of Innovation Nation on CBS.

We're ramping up in 2024. Demand continues to be overwhelming. Zelectric's production calendar is booked well into 2026 with paid project reservations. Early Porsches 356, 911, 912 and vintage Volkswagen Beetles, Microbuses, and Karmann Ghias: every vehicle remains obviously stock while invisibly modern. We're dedicated to the end result: a spirited driving experience.

Since 2012, we've employed a network of specialists throughout every aspect of each project build. Now we’re bringing Zelectric retrofit work in-house. Along with drivetrain conversions to high-powered electric, we meticulously fine tune and upgrade mechanical components including transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, wiring, interior and more.... each vehicle is quietly transformed while preserving its design legacy.
